Message	Many years ago, I clipped a freeway curb at 65+ with my rear passenger wheel. Afterward, I heard a grinding sound in forward motion, but not reverse. When I took off the wheel to check it out, I saw the trailing link had been torn clean off the bolt, allowing the wheel to travel backward a bit when the car was moving forward. That travel was enough to let the tire scrape the fender well.
